Expertise	• Knowledge of operating test tools like Protocol Analyzers, Load Generators, Conformance Testers, Generic Test frameworks • Good working knowledge of Windows, UNIX, Linux or VxWorks  • Should have gone through the complete testing life cycle for one small to medium project -- like test specification preparation/review, test execution, test reporting etc. • Grip on specific expertise (e.g. protocols, call-state-machine, Call flows…) within a subsystem in a given technical domain • Ability to test systematically and observe carefully and analyze observations and problem cases • Ability to capture problem descriptions properly with adequate data and details to assist in efficient problem fixing • Ability to explain and defend the significance, purpose and objective of the test case(s) to development team and the associated observed behavior • Ability to Estimate and plan own work • Ability to understand and comprehend specifications, PRD, standards and related technology well with little help from Test Lead/Sr Test Lead • Ability to Understand product/implementation under test and the appropriate specifications extensively • Able to plan his sub tasks well aligned with the schedule and report status against that

Job Profile	A more experienced technical member of team, contributing to test case enumeration, test procedure documentation  preparation and review, test scrip/suite design and development,  test execution , problem tracing and analysis for more complex test scenarios. An STE also provides guiding to less experienced test engineers.  Completely accountable for own work and the work that is reviewed by him/her Estimate, plan and organize own work Provide high quality Guidance to Trainees if assigned Key Domain Areas:    Integration and Verification of RNC products
Candidate Profile	A Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in Engineering Typically 2-5 years working experience • Knowledge of mobile communication systems, and specifically Radio Access Network  R&D experience is preferred. • Should be well versed with Shell scripting and any one scripting language ability to write scripts
