Role
- Establish the open source practice and spearhead the open source initiatives across the company.
- Develop awareness of a spectrum of open source products with particular focus on select areas.
- Manage global customer relations and their projects.
- Build teams capable of delivering enterprise open source systems and services.
- Offer technical consultancy to customers on open source strategies.
- Guide team on open source projects.
Eligibility
- 10+ years experience with enterprise software development using advanced technologies.
- At least 5 years experience with open source software. Must have worked with at least one J2EE product and one other J2EE-based open source application solution or framework.
- Good understanding of the complete spectrum of open source software and how they compare with commercial products.
- Knowledge of open source product mechanics such as SourceForge.
- Experience in building open source enterprise solutions such as Content Management, Collaboration, Portals, Identity Management and Business Intelligence.
- Services experience with open source strategy and consulting, application development, migration and support.
- Excellent communication and soft skills, flexibility to wear multiple hats as needed.
- B.Tech Computer science or equivalent from a reputed institute.
Technical Manager
Location: Hyderabad
Role
- Manage the entire business/customer relations of this Pramati account.
- Develop the team includes identifying the talent, and mentoring them.
- Proposals, scoping, estimation and requirement management.
- Project Management and change management.
- Ensuring quality deliverables on time and within budget.
- Technology strategy and guidance to customers and internal teams.
- Work involves Java, EJBs, JSPs, Servlets, Java UI (AWT and Swing, JDBC, JNDI JMS, HTTP, XML, and Web Services among other enterprise Java technologies.
Eligibility
- 8+ years of software design and development experience using Object oriented, Internet and database technologies, with good understanding of J2EE products and Java standards.
- Experience with systems architecture, design, and development using advanced J2EE technologies, and managing projects to ensure successful delivery (right quality, right time, and right budget).
- Excellent analytical, communication and soft skills.
- Ability to recruit talented engineers and mentor them.
- Experience handling large customer accounts, and managing customer projects and meeting expectations.
- B.Tech Computer science or equivalent from a reputed institute.
- Experience with IBM WebSphere and related products will be a plus.
Development Engineer

Principal Engineer
Location: Hyderabad
Role
- Will lead an elite team of highly talented Pramati development engineers working on leading-edge products and customer solutions.
- Involves strong team leadership and tight collaboration with software architects.
- Reviewing, developing and supporting development engineers in their initiatives.
- Independent charge of implementing new technology standards in products and customer solutions.
- Write and review technical papers.
Eligibility
- At least 5 years experience, with 3 years in product or application development using J2EE technologies is essential.
- Strong foundation in computer science (internet technologies, enterprise system architecture and e-commerce).
- Experience in UML modelling and data modelling is desirable.
- Substantial experience with OO systems design and development with proficiency in Java and J2EE technologies and all major database systems.

Developer Support Engineer
Location: Hyderabad
Role
- Work with developers and architects in solving performance and configuration problems
- Gather customer inputs for future product roadmap
- Train customers/users on product features and performance tuning

- Be the face of the organization to customers
Eligibility
- 2 or more years of experience in customer support or professional services
- 2 or more years experience with Java and J2EE Technologies
- Hands-on experience in installing, configuring and troubleshooting at least one of the following application servers: Pramati, Weblogic, Websphere
- Working experience with at least one of the following database servers: Oracle, MSSQL
- Working experience with at least two of the following operating systems: Windows, Linux, Solaris, HP-UX
- B.E/M.Sc /MCA in Computer Science, Information Systems or Electronics
- Good problem solving and troubleshooting abilities

Principal Consultant
Location: Hyderabad
Role
- Ownership of consulting projects, mainly in the area of middleware and Internet solutions. Projects may use products and technologies developed by Pramati.
- Make significant value-addition through total customer solutions to the company's product line.
- Understanding and assessing customer requirements, scoping requirements. Also involves negotiating and managing consulting contracts.
- Managing projects and co-ordinating with engineering teams to ensure delivery.
- Making proposals and responding to RFPs.
- Participating in services/consulting sales calls.
- Account Management and Penetration with current and prospective clients.
Eligibility
- 5 to 6 years experience, with at least 3 years in project and account management.
- Familiarity with Internet, middleware technologies and business application development particularly for financial services, telcos and online businesses.
- Ability to develop business relationships as well as build and lead engineering teams.
- Ability to relate core technology offerings with customer needs.
- Project management experience with international clients and specialized project teams.
- Willingness to participate in brand building exercises.
- Knowledge of project management techniques and tools.
