We are organized as a Product Unit in the System Center Division, with full business charter & complete end to end ownership of developing data protection & data lifecycle management solutions for all Microsoft workloads – for eg: Exchange, SQL, SharePoint, Hyper-V, Laptops and File Server. This team also owns inbox data protection platform & solution in Windows. We have just released System Center Data Protection Manager 2010 (DPM) (Version 3 release), to a multi-billion dollar data protection market. If you are an experienced tester who can write outstanding test automation code with high productivity, have strong test design and development skills, are great in solving technical challenges, and you want to help create next generation software for data lifecycle management solutions then we want to talk with you. You will work in feature teams where you will have very close interaction with Dev/PM counterparts and also with other Microsoft teams like Sharepoint, Hyper-V, SQL, Azure and Microsoft Online services. Required Competencies & Experience: Qualifications: Degree in computer science with minimum of 5+ years of software development and testing experience Experience with the following technologies: C#, ASP.NET Good experience with common debuggers, tools for troubleshooting/monitoring and profiling complex component interactions and the ability to communicate / represent different types of bugs Demonstrated success towards building a strong scenario driven, automated test strategy, along with a drive for excellence Excellent communication skills The ideal candidate will also possess: Experience with enhancing existing automation systems and utilization of testing best practices is desired At least two full release cycles shipping products Strong customer focus Strong passion on testing methodologies Strong debugging skills is desired Have a can do positive attitude | |
