Job Description
a) Deployment, administration and support of for multiple products across dev/UAT/Production environments
b) Scope of work for Tibco Support
New EMS/BW instance creations (includes creation of RTView)
Manually create/ delete/update queue/topics/bridges/durables
Purge queues/topics
Manually Delete EMS log files
Create new EMS instance
Troubleshooting issues of development team
Environment check outs after infrastructure package installations
Resolving Support Managed tickets for PROD/COB/UAT/INT /DEV
Weekend checkouts after server reboot (includes manual rebalancing of instances).
Perform DR Simulation test and full failover test
Managing & monitoring EMS instance like reducing log size, memory usage
Sitescope/Tivoli monitoring setup for EMS
Installation of Hawk rule on the BW instance
Manage on-call after-hours support
Maintain Runbooks
c) Assist with implementation, upgrades application migrations and support of applications for QA and Dev teams
d) Identification and resolution of Application related problems / outages or escalate to vendor
e) Maintaining and setting up environments on multiple platforms across the enterprise
f) Performance analysis of application runtime environments
g) Develop and maintain methodologies, policies, procedures, and standards and ensure that they are aligned with Client standards
h) Check contingency server running and synchronisation
i) Check DB & app server space consumption and plan capacity
