IBM's new Technical Services Delivery Center in downtown Dubuque, Iowa is seeking Oracle Database Administrators. Oracle DBA provides physical database support in a multi-customer environment. Will provide support of daily database administration activities ranging from simple to complex. Must have experience in unix and AIX, scripting, installing and upgrading oracle 9i, 10G and 11. OEM Grid and RAC experience a plus. Must be experienced in multiple backup and recovery methodologies (i.e TSM, SQL Backtrack) and possess a deep understanding of RMAN, including backup, recovery, incremental and cumulative backups, various recovery scenarios, and archive management. |

- At least 3 years experience in Database Administration experience with ORACLE
- At least 6 months experience in at least one or more of the following: installing, troubleshooting, operating, testing, planning and configuring relevant technologies
- At least 6 months experience in backup and recovery methodologies (TSM, SQL, Backtrack) and deep understanding of RMAN, including backup, recovery, incremental and cumulative backups, various recovery scenarios and archive mgmt
- English: Fluent

- Associate's Degree/College Diploma in Information Technology
- At least 1 year experience in at least one or more of the following: installing, troubleshooting, operating, testing, planning and configuring relevant technologies
- Basic knowledge in LEAN methodologies
- Basic knowledge in Maximo tool
- At least 3 years experience in systems programming experience within any of the mainframe operating systems and DBDC sub-systems
- Certified in Database for the relevant DBMS platform
