The Tivoli Netcool Configuration Manager team is seeking a motivated software engineer to join our team and contribute to developing the next generation of our Network Change and Configuration Management product. The successful candidate will be responsible for the design, development and testing of components and high quality deliverables. The ideal candidate would have strong background in Java. Experience with XML, SQL and Networking is also a plus. Strong teaming and the ability to collaborate across geogrpahies also a must. Principal Responsibilities: - Contributing to product requirement specification - Participating in the technical design and application of various technical approaches and technologies in product development efforts - Feature Design & Implementation - Using a structured design methodology - Delivering Detail Design Documentation - Using current programming language and technologies, performs testing and debugging of applications - Using Source Code Management (SCM) tools (i.e. Rational Clear Case) as part of build plans - Write development documentation and contributes to end user documentation - Working with Project and Program Management and contribute to the scheduling and planning exercises - Problem solving and trouble shooting - Working cooperatively with cross-functional teams to ensure quality of product | |||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
