Roles/Responsibilities Manufacturing , Supply Chain & Information Systems (MSCIS IS) India is looking for an experienced Group Program Manager with a passion for transforming business challenges into technology and business process solutions as a part of the systems team delivering innovative solutions that enhance productivity and competitiveness of Microsoft Interactive Entertainment Business [IEB]. The right candidate will help build the IT systems infrastructure and supply chain solutions in support of Xbox 360, Zune and forthcoming products from the Microsoft IEB. If you wish to become a key part of a fun and fast paced team and leverage your IT experience and program management experience with an emphasis on manufacturing or supply chain management, then we need you ! Demonstrated Experiences : Hands on experience with the development of large, complex supply chain or manufacturing IT solutions. Collaborate with business teams, solution managers and enterprise architects and leverage deep functional expertise to drive feasibility evaluation, Proof-of-concepts, solution architecture, benchmarking, and scope definition of projects. Lead technical presentations and written reports for publication to internal and external stakeholders and management. Implementation Design and implement large or group of smaller projects delivering a complex IT solution, influencing matrix teams to deliver results as the Program Management Function Lead. Proven track record of delivery in challenging business, technology environments. Development and design experience with service oriented architectures, packaged solutions or custom developed solutions on the Microsoft technology stack - integrating synchronously / asynchronously with an SAP/R3 backbone is preferred. Plan and execute the implementation of technical solutions for assigned business areas/revenue streams by identifying resource requirements, preparing project milestones, managing end user expectations and ensuring that project scope is contained. Develop functional specifications for interfaces and reports. Work with development and test teams to ensure the specifications are developed and tested in a timely fashion and meet the business needs. Scope and plan new projects - identify implementation approach and estimate overall implementation timeline/cost. Evaluate requests for changes or enhancements by considering the capabilities of existing systems capabilities to satisfy these needs. Document the required functional specifications for requests submitted from internal users. Provide timely status reporting for assigned projects. Review business change requests, provide cost/schedule estimate and then implement the solutions either directly through systems configuration or indirectly by working with internal and external development groups through the development of functional and technical specifications. Technical o Understanding and implementation experience of solutions leveraging Microsoft technologies such as .NET, SharePoint Portal Server, BizTalk and MS SQL Server o Familiarity with SQL Server development o Expert knowledge in Software Development Lifecycle Methodologies (SDLC) including specific knowledge of Agile Scrum Ban methodologies. o Knowledge of SAP or experience in deploying solutions that integrate in an SAP environment is an added advantage o Experience of using Dynamics AX specifically Finance modules. BASIC QUALIFICATIONS: Degree in Computer Science Engineering or equivalent work experience 12 plus years of experience in implementing IT solutions including 5 plus years in a lead role. Highly proficient & solid Customer facing project experience involving technical consulting, solution design, project envisioning, planning, development and deployment Sound program management, analysis, problem resolution, team building, judgment and decision making skills required Ability to rapidly assimilate new information and new techniques Experience on international projects and cross-functional leadership skills is a must Able to travel as required Demonstrated ability to work with top management Strong People & Function Management Skills Demonstrated experience in Budget & Financial Management Preferred Qualifications: Self-starter, who can deal with ambiguity, maintains focus, drives to clarity and provides innovative solutions. Demonstrated ability to collaborate and deliver results in a matrix organization. Creativity - to think of innovative and smart solutions for the client. Strong written, verbal, and presentation skills. Sound problem resolution, team building and decision making skills.
