The Search Technology Center in India has 3 focus areas – · Web Relevance: a constantly advancing technology frontier leveraging cutting edge algorithms & innovation, Relevance is the heart of a Search engine focused on taking the billions of documents in an index and distilling it down to the right handful of URLs the user will actually look at. · Connected Experiences: Design & deliver key verticals like Bing Finance, Events, Weather and Cars leveraging structured data to build rich user experiences that make it easier for users to quickly accomplish tasks and make informed decisions · Market Differentiation: developing and enabling market-relevant features for key international markets for Bing like Australia and Canada. These include building compelling connected experiences for users in these markets. Requirements for the role: · Track record of excellence in designing & delivering software that has wow’ed the user · 4+ years of experience in software development lifecycle (from planning, design to execution & release), preferably on a web-based product · Top notch oral and written communication skills · Technical competence & strong analytical skills · Bachelor’s in Computer Science preferred | |
